Tiger-Cats Extend Canadian Offensive Lineman Liam Dobson
Tiger-Cats retain a versatile and physical presence on the offensive line, keeping the veteran Canadian in Hamilton through the 2028 season.
The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced today that the club has signed Canadian offensive lineman Liam Dobson to a two-year contract extension.
Dobson, 28, joined the Tiger-Cats as a free agent on February 11, 2025, following three seasons with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Originally selected third overall in the 2021 CFL Draft, the 6-3, 340-pound Ottawa, Ont., native has appeared in 87 regular-season games over five CFL seasons, establishing himself as one of the league’s premier interior offensive linemen with the versatility to excel at multiple positions along the offensive front. Dobson earned West Division All-CFL honours in 2024 and has appeared in three Grey Cups, bringing a consistent and physical presence to the line of scrimmage.
