Hamilton Tiger-Cats Add Four Americans to the Practice Roster

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced today that the team has signed American offensive lineman Noah Henderson, running back Rushawn Baker, defensive lineman Trajan Jeffcoat, and defensive back Robert McDaniel.

Henderson, 26, last played with the UFL’s Memphis Showboats after spending the 2024 season with the Arlington Renegades, where he appeared in nine games with five starts. Collegiately, he played three seasons at East Carolina, appearing in 33 games with 25 starts and serving as a two-time team captain. Following his collegiate career, he was selected to participate in both the 2023 Hula Bowl and the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl.

Baker, 23, joins the Tiger-Cats after appearing in three games with the Montreal Alouettes in 2026, recording 31 rushing yards on 10 carries. He concluded his collegiate career at Elon University in 2024, rushing for 859 yards and nine touchdowns on 183 carries to earn Honourable Mention All-Conference honours. Before Elon, the Victor, N.Y., native spent three seasons at Bucknell University, recording 1,359 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns on 335 carries. Baker also spent time with the New York Giants and New England Patriots in 2025 before joining the Edmonton Elks during the 2026 offseason.

Jeffcoat, 26, played his final collegiate season at Arkansas in 2023, starting all 12 games and recording 16 tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss and four sacks while leading the team with 29 quarterback pressures. Before Arkansas, he spent five seasons at Missouri, highlighted by First-Team All-SEC honours in 2020 after leading the Tigers with six sacks. Jeffcoat signed with the New Orleans Saints as an undrafted free agent in 2024 before being selected by the Birmingham Stallions in the UFL Draft later that year.

McDaniel, 25, most recently spent time with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and had two different stints at Jackson State, as well as time at Alcorn State and Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. In his senior year at Jackson State in 2024, he filled up a robust stat line, combining 54 tackles with 10.0 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks, three interceptions, five pass breakups and two forced fumbles. During the 2025 NFL preseason, McDaniel saw action in three games for the Commanders and registered 10 tackles and a pass defensed.
